“Harry my Whippet who is approximately 11 years old, suffered really bad with firework anxiety. So bad that I would take him away for the worst couple of weeks in Oct/Nov, to Cornwall. Angie from TTouch has transformed him from being a panting, shaking and shivering wreck to a much calmer dog. She taught me how to use certain stroking techniques and use a special stretchy bandage like item to wrap around him. We are so grateful for her help, in an incredibly stressful situation”.

“Angela’s gentle approach with Heidi has made such a difference in helping my lively Cockapoo calm down. She showed me how to stroke Heidi in a way that helps her relax, and with Angela’s guidance, I can now touch her paws again after her pad injury. Heidi used to pull so hard on the lead that she once pulled me over, breaking my shoulder. Together, Angela and I worked on making walks safer and calmer by introducing a new way of using the lead to stop the pulling. Angela also trained Heidi to do her business in the garden at night, saving me from late-night walks in all weathers. I couldn’t be more grateful!"

“I can’t thank Angie enough for the incredible transformation she helped bring about in Bow (our Chinchilla). Watching him go from quiet and cautious around me to confidently sitting on my lap has been amazing. Angie showed so much patience and skill in understanding Bow’s needs and teaching me how to build trust with him. Now, Bow’s playful personality shines, and our bond is stronger than ever. I wholeheartedly recommend Angie to anyone looking to help their shy pet become more sociable!"

I am hugely grateful to Angela for the support and guidance she has given me with my rescue dog Eric. Eric came to us reactive and at times quite overwhelmed. With her support in guiding me on different signals Eric is giving me, I could help him relax. I was able to use this after Eric went to the vet to have teeth out and returned really anxious. She also showed me touches to do around his mouth to help with brushing his teeth which we now do happily! She was very patient with me and calm and comforting when with Eric, which brought the best out in both of us - thanks Angela

My horse Goldie has been head shy since I got her over 10 years ago she's never been keen on her head and ears being touched and on one occasion I couldn't get a head collar on her because of it. Angela has been doing TTouch with Goldie for a while now and Goldie has put all her trust in Angela and will allow her poll, ears and face to be touched. Even riding her, pulling on the reins has reduced massively. A long-term struggle is now a lot more comfortable for both of us. Thanks Angela you are a superstar

Angela is so warm and caring with animals and that is something I have seen over many years. My puppy is a working cocker spaniel and he was really pulling on the lead. Angela took the time and effort to show me different types of leads to help manage the pulling along with techniques, which made a huge difference to walking him on the lead. Much less pulling! Angela also showed me some TTouch on Milo which is amazing how it calms him down. Spaniels have loads of energy and getting over excited so this is nice to use to calm him down when needed. Would highly recommend Angela.

Bella loves to go and see Angela at Zen Animals and she always comes home relaxed and chilled out. She is so gentle and reassuring with Bella; she couldn’t be in better hands. I would recommend her to anyone with a pet that needs some extra care and attention.

My 6-year-old golden retriever Angel was terrified of fireworks. She would shake, drool and get very upset as soon as the fireworks started. Last November Angela did some TTouch work with Angel. Before the fireworks started we put a wrap on her and Angela did quite a lot of TTouches with her. Angel was very happy for Angela to work with her in this way. When the fireworks started Angel’s reaction was far less extreme than usual. She was much calmer. Angela taught me how to do the wraps and TTouches so that I could use them in the future. The more I worked with Angel using this, the calmer she has become with fireworks. She isn’t quite sleeping through them yet, but it’s not far off. I am absolutely delighted with the results and indebted to Angela for her excellent work and teaching. It’s one of the worst things to see your beautiful doggie companion so stressed and feel that you can’t do anything to help. Thank you Angela 🐾🐾

I run a dog boarding service looking after dogs that can have vastly different temperaments. At the request of one of the owners I asked Angela to advise with one of our daycare attendees who was struggling to cope with noise such as that from the washing machine (making him feel very nervous). Angela used a TTouch method involving soothing touches and strokes in particular areas of the dog’s body. The result was amazing as the dog was immediately calmed and responded similarly after we were left with instruction as to apply the technique ourselves. Whilst Angela was visiting she asked if there were any other issues. We were recommended to wrap the dog with bandages for his other anxieties, which again had an immediate effect. Lastly, the dog was inclined to be reactive to other dogs on a walk. So, using a long line and attached differently, combined with simple exercises like weaving in and out of cones, the dog now walks well without reacting. We highly recommend Angela’s service she is so patient and is so giving with her time.

‘My red fox lab was so over excited and difficult to control as a young dog. She would jump up at people and bark when they came into the house. Angela walked in and calmed her instantly. She has a wonderfully calm and supportive way of teaching. I was so impressed and grateful’

Angela has such a natural instinct with animals that instantly makes them trust her. My Cavachon Lottie will do anything that Angela asks her to do. Animals can tell that she cares and wants to help them; so she gains their trust. It’s really quite remarkable.

Angela has been working with our 20-month-old Fox Red Labrador, Rocket, since we brought him home as a 9-week-old puppy. She helped him several times and taught us touches to do when he was injured or feeling unwell. She has a calming touch and Rocket loves her. With her techniques and guidance, he is growing up into a confident and very family-friendly dog. Angela loves helping animals, which is immediately apparent. She is very patient and calm, and one can see just how well animals respond.

I can’t praise Angela enough. She has the most amazing empathy and insight into animal behaviour. She is patient and non-judgmental. Ollie’s confidence has come on leaps and bounds. He absolutely loves Angela.

Thank you, Angela with all my heart. You have such an aura of calm and positivity. I truly believe your considerable skill and knowledge saved Toby that day. We will always be in your debt. 💕

Thank you Angela. Through your help and training, we are now able to keep our furry friends calm in potentially stressful situations eg fireworks night, a car journey. Wonderful to have such happy, relaxed pets. Rogue, our cat was petrified of visitors coming into the house. She would run away, sometimes hiding under the bed and at other times would disappear off outside for hours. Days if someone came to stay. She had been like this for two years and nothing we tried, seemed to help. That is until we met Angela. Angela is so knowledgeable and showed us various calming techniques to help boost Rogues confidence. Since using these techniques the difference in Rogue really is incredible. She is way more relaxed. Although still a little wary of visitors, rather than run away, she curls up and watches them from the stairs. We are so grateful for the way Angela has enriched Rogues and our lives.

Our Angel Angie came into our lives when Stanley was about five months old. Stan is a Springer Spaniel, mainly white with black ears and the prettiest face. Although we have had five dogs during our 45 years of marriage Stan was an unplanned addition to the family. We got Stan when we were on holiday in the caravan, we went to a farmer’s market and the rest as they say is history. Stanley was 8 weeks old when we got him and spent his first six weeks with us living in a caravan touring Norfolk. He went everywhere with us. He had a crate in a wagon when he was too young to walk the pavements or when he was tired and was everyone’s friend on site. He was our baby. Then we came home. Opened the back gate, let him go and watched him run. He ran everywhere, slid through the doorways, crashed into doors as he tried to negotiate his way to us and dived on to the sofa nearly knocking us all off ! He was crazy. Gone was the quiet subdued puppy in my arms. He ripped up my plants in the garden and life with him was full on. I was questioning what had we done. This was not the retirement we had planned. I was 64, my husband a very fit 72. We needed help. Help came in the form of Angie, Our Angel. She came to our home, introduced herself to us and made a fuss of Stanley, who instantly took to Ange. We opened up and told her we had maybe made a mistake, maybe Stan deserved a younger family. Angie with constant encouragement and patience showed us how to interact with our dog, showed us through ttouch the benefits of a calm dog .. constant reassurance and praise and repetition. We knew we had a duty of care to Stan and thanks to Angie’s love and patience in only her first meeting with us we both felt we would work it out. Angie talked us through each step. First walking Stanley through his paces, rewarding him and giving him praise. We went from thinking about rehoming him to falling in love with him all over again. Angie taught us how to use different techniques when walking to make the walk interesting for Stanley, offering treats, praise and repetition. She took us to a secure field where we learnt to do recall and together we grew. Angie is an amazing lady. We cannot sing her praises high enough. She could so easily on that first visit have walked away and said ok rehome Stanley. But she didn’t, she hugged me when i cried and taught me to believe in myself and to trust Stanley. Angie’s techniques work. Love, Patience, Encouragement, T Touch and Repetition … Thank you Angie for everything xxx

I would highly recommend Angela, she did some sessions with my highly strung chihuahua cross dog, which were very successful, I learned some calming techniques which I use daily, which work wonders! Angela has a huge passion for animals which is very obvious, they all love her, she truly is an animal whisperer 🥰
